Last updated August 2026. This policy explains what data Wrist AI collects on Apple Watch and iPhone, how it is collected, how it is used, and who it is shared with.

What We Collect

Message text — the content of the messages you send. Collected only at the moment you send one.
Voice recordings — on Apple Watch, if you tap the microphone, the app records a short audio clip so it can be turned into text. Collected only while you are recording.
Anonymous device identifier — a random identifier generated on your device. It is not your name, email, or Apple Account. The Apple Watch app and the iPhone app each generate their own.
Subscription transaction identifier — for subscribers, supplied by Apple's StoreKit and used to verify subscription access.
Advertising identifier — only if you allow tracking when iOS asks. See Advertising and Tracking below.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, health data, photos, or browsing history. The app contains no advertisements.

Where Your Messages Go

When you send a message, the text of that message is transmitted to Anthropic, PBC — a third-party artificial intelligence provider that operates the Claude models — solely so that a reply can be generated. Anthropic receives the message text only; it does not receive your device identifier or your subscription identifier. See Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

Where Your Voice Recordings Go

If you use voice input on Apple Watch, the recording is sent to Cloudflare, Inc., which runs the speech-to-text model that converts it into text. The recording is used only for that conversion, is not stored by us once the request completes, and is deleted from your device immediately after it is sent. The resulting text is then handled exactly like a typed message. See Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Advertising and Tracking

The iPhone app includes the TikTok Business SDK, which we use to measure whether our advertising works. If you allow tracking when iOS asks, it may access your device's advertising identifier and report app events such as installs and launches to TikTok. If you decline, no advertising identifier is accessed. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. See TikTok's privacy policy at tiktok.com/legal.

What We Store

Our backend stores only a one-way hashed (SHA-256) form of the device and subscription identifiers, together with usage counters that enforce free-message and subscription limits. It does not store the content of your messages and does not store your voice recordings.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone other than the providers named above, for the purposes described above.

Consent

Before any message is sent, the app displays a disclosure screen and requires you to tap “Agree & Continue”. You can stop sharing data at any time by not sending further messages and deleting the app.

Subscriptions

Subscription purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details. The app receives subscription status from Apple's StoreKit system so it can unlock extended limits.

Children

Wrist AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
